MaSwitch is a Windows game launcher and Riot Games account manager by Martin Wassim. It brings installed games, local playtime tracking and optional gaming utilities into one desktop application.

Yes. The project is distributed under the MIT License and its Windows releases are available on GitHub. You still need your own game licenses and platform accounts.

The project documents Windows 10 64-bit (version 1903 or later) and Windows 11. The Windows installer targets x64. There are no verified macOS, Linux or ARM64 installers.

Download the Windows setup asset from the Download page or official GitHub Releases. Review the publisher and published checksum, run setup, choose Minimal, Recommended, Complete or Custom, then launch MaSwitch from the Start Menu.

Account management is currently available only for Riot Games. Steam, Epic Games, EA App, Ubisoft Connect, GOG Galaxy, Rockstar Games and Discord account features are Coming Soon. Game discovery and launching are separate capabilities.

MaSwitch stores saved Riot credentials using Windows DPAPI and uses Windows UI Automation to fill the official Riot Client. Optional automatic submission can be disabled. You complete MFA, 2FA or CAPTCHA directly in Riot’s client. Changes to the Riot Client can affect automation.

Inspired by Mem Reduct, the Memory Reducer monitors physical RAM and pagefile usage in real time. When triggered, Standard mode safely trims non-critical process working sets using Windows psapi EmptyWorkingSet, purges priority-0 standby pages, runs physical memory list combining (deduplication on Windows 10+), and flushes Windows registry cache buffers. Advanced mode allows flushing the system file cache and full standby lists with elevated administrator approval.

No FPS improvement, latency reduction, or speedup is promised. Memory trimming asks Windows to page idle memory out of physical RAM, freeing space for memory-intensive games to allocate without paging. However, trimming cannot replace physical hardware RAM, and flushing cached standby pages can temporarily cause disk read spikes while open programs reload needed files.

MaSwitch includes a strict Active-Game Lock that hard-blocks memory cleanup whenever an active game session is detected. This safety gate prevents anti-cheat interruptions (Riot Vanguard, Easy Anti-Cheat, BattlEye) and eliminates in-game micro-stutter. Additionally, a protected process whitelist ensures Windows core services, anti-cheat drivers, and competitive game binaries are never trimmed.

Minimal installs the core only. Recommended adds Smart Game Collections and Backup & Restore. Complete includes all six optional modules. Use Custom or re-run the installer to change your installed components, then check the feature settings.

Check the Changelog or official GitHub Releases and download a newer installer when available. An automatic desktop update mechanism was not verified in the audited source. Back up your local data before updating.

Library records, session history and settings are stored locally in MaSwitch’s Windows user-data folder. Riot credentials use a separate Windows DPAPI vault. News and artwork features make network requests, and platform authentication happens through the relevant launcher. Read the Privacy & Security page for details.

News support depends on the game and provider; some titles have no mapped feed, and providers can fail. The Performance Monitor currently reports CPU and RAM. GPU utilization and temperature are explicitly unsupported.

Check that its official launcher is installed and signed in, then rescan and inspect scan diagnostics. You can import a custom folder or executable. Rockstar games need manual import. Launch behavior also depends on the game’s client and installation.

The project documents unsigned releases, which may trigger an Unknown Publisher warning. Verify that the download came from the official repository and compare its SHA-256 digest with the published value. If the source or integrity is uncertain, stop and report the issue.

Use the official GitHub Issues page for bugs and include your MaSwitch version, Windows version and steps to reproduce. Remove account details from diagnostics and screenshots. For sensitive security reports, follow the repository’s Security Policy and never post passwords or credential-vault files.
